TWIICE is a modular lower limb exoskeleton developed by the Laboratoire de Systèmes Robotiques (LSRO) at EPFL. Through its adaptability to different morphologies, pathologies and user experiences, TWIICE intends to give back independence to paraplegics in daily activities.

Every disability is unique:

+ designed to handle different pathologies, morphologies and user experiences
+ special emphasis on simplicity, robustness, reliability and lightness

The Laboratoire de Systèmes Robotiques (LSRO) led by Prof. H. Bleuler and Prof. F. Mondada is part of the "Institute of Microengineering (IMT)" and is located in Lausanne, Switzerland.
